Taunton Public Schools and UNO Pizzeria & Grill today announced the “GET BRIGHTER TAUNTON” fundraising program with CCS Presentation Systems New England and Epson, the number-one selling projector brand worldwide1. The program will help improve public education and give teachers and student… s more access to cutting edge technology. From March 2, 2015 through April 17, 2015, UNO Pizzeria & Grill located at 904 County Road in Taunton, MA will host the “GET BRIGHTER TAUNTON” fundraiser for Taunton Public Schools. To participate, guests of UNO who present a fundraiser ticket with their order will automatically give 20 percent of their total bill to the school of their choice through UNO’s generous donation. The funds raised from this program will allow Taunton Public Schools to further enhance its curriculum and supplies.
The school that raises the most funds at the end of the program will receive an Epson BrightLink® 575Wi interactive projector, including installation and training, generously donated by Epson, CCS New England and UNO. Designed to meet the needs of K-12 classrooms, the BrightLink® 575Wi is an ultra-short throw interactive projector delivering advanced connectivity options, PC-free interactivity capabilities, interactivity over the network, Moderator software for ultimate collaboration, and 2,700 lumens of color brightness and 2,700 lumens of white light brightness2.

The Epson BrightLink 575Wi projector also offers dual interactive pen technology for writing, navigating and controlling interactive functions at the same time. The value of this prize is $4,000. Taunton Public Schools sees tremendous value in creating technology-rich schools and hopes to eventually install Epson projectors in all classrooms. The winning schools will be announced on April 30, 2015. A “GET BRIGHTER TAUNTON” Celebration Party will be held in mid-May 2015 to celebrate the winning school and the success of the program. The entire local community will be invited to celebrate.
Parents, students, local businesses and members of the local community are asked to consider UNO Pizzeria & Grill of Taunton as their restaurant of choice from March 2, 2015 – April 17, 2015 to show support for Taunton Public Schools. “GET BRIGHER TAUNTON” fundraiser tickets are available on the Taunton Public Schools website, www.tauntonschools.org and on the UNO Taunton Facebook page at www.facebook.com/unotaunton. “GET BRIGHTER TAUNTON” fundraiser tickets are valid for use in the restaurant and bar, as well as for take-out, delivery and event catering.
