CCS Southeast

The AV Technician (AV Tech) installs a diverse variety of audio visual equipment per detailed plans to deliver a working and integrated system. The AV Tech must be able to efficiently plan physical installation and work with others to achieve system completion. The AV Tech will have a high technical aptitude and energy to work in fast-paced construction environments

  • Reviewing, highlighting, adhering to, and redlining changes on project shop drawings
  • Maintain and track your own as well as company tools for installation
  • Documenting all serial #’s of equipment installed by CCS
  • Being the onsite liaison between the client, CCS, and other trades
  • Daily reporting and communication with the PM, must submit daily reports each and every day
  • Completing company quality control checklists prior to job completion and submit to PM
  • Manage project inventory and consumable hardware required to complete the project
  • Turn on, setup, align, and /or test all equipment installed to the extent possible
  • Facilitate the commissioning process with Engineers, PM’s, and Programmers
  • Troubleshoot audio visual system wiring and components
  • Conduct autonomous service calls upon request
  • 3+ years experience in Commercial Audio-Visual field installation experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent audio-visual trouble shooting skills
  • Friendly, flexible, and approachable communicator
  • Ability to pass govt. and civilian background checks
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with safe driving record
  • Basic computer skills, Excel, Word, Email programs (preferred)
  • Mounting and construction of all-thread and uni-strut structures (preferred)
  • Certified Technology Specialist designation (preferred)
