Don’t forget about summer training classes through CCS

SUMMER TRAINING TO SHARPEN EDUCATOR SKILLS

The main focus of providing audio visual training, especially over the summer, is to allow educators the time they simply do not have during the year to relax, have fun, and learn about the technologies they currently have in the classroom that they would like to know more about, use more efficiently or apply more directly to unique learning applications.

All of our trainings are very much hands-on and collaborative (teachers working together), and all participants will all walk-away with content they can use when they return to school in the fall.

One of those solutions is the MVP100 (My Video Phone), a video calling device.

The InFocus MVP100 video phone is easy to use and works just like a standard telephone. With a simple push of a button, the MVP dials and starts the video call automatically. Further, it quickly pays for itself on the savings from travel and increased productivity, so it’s affordable for mass deployment.

The phone can sit on a desk top, in a remote home office, and is even small enough to travel with you when business takes you on the road.

The MVP100 has an easily adjustable 10″ color display and 720p HD camera making it very comfortable for visual communication. The built-in wide-band speaker and high dynamic range microphone ensure clear conversations. And the display is built with auto brightness and white balance controls. New Sony Projectors to Create a New Reality

Sony revolutionized video display with the introduction of the world’s first CRT projector, the world’s first commercial 4K projector with 4096 x 2160 resolution, the world’s first 3LCD laser projector, and the world’s first 4K ultra-short throw laser light source projector. Sony delivers breakthrough after breakthrough because they don’t just build projectors, they build the technology inside that delivers extraordinary contrast, uniformity, color accuracy and phenomenal resolution. All this has earned Sony the largest installed base of professional 4K projectors, worldwide.

Now in 2016, Sony will introduce two new revolutionary projectors that will expand the immersive reality viewing experience. The Sony VPL-GTZ270 and VPL-GTZ280 are 5,000 lumen large-format models that utilize the latest SXRD display technology to create high quality images with 4K resolution and super-high contrast ratio. But most notable is the new image enhancement functions including “Reality Creation” upscaling and compatibility with High Dynamic Range (HDR) content, giving users the ability to view the entire range of an image accurately and clearly for a more convincing picture. A wide color space covers the full DCI range and simulates the new ITU-R BT2020 color gamut for the most realistic picture.

Additionally, the VPL-GTZ280 offers high-speed motion functions and new high-speed 4K 120Hz signal processing capability for 4K3D 60Hz left eye/right eye and reducing blur in fast motion scenes. This is in addition to smear and transport delay reduction, infrared light output for night vision stimulation and vibration resistance.

These two projectors will soon be immersing audiences in exciting reality viewing experiences in planetariums, theme parks, retail facilities, museums and in flight simulation, visualization and training establishments. The VPL- GTZ270 and VPL- GTZ280 will be released in the 1st Quarter 2016 and 2nd Quarter 2016 respectively.

Teach with the InFocus Mondopad

The InFocus Mondopad is a digital whiteboard system that revolutionizes the way teachers access and deliver content to their students. Mondopad makes it easy for teachers to display documents, pictures or lessons on the board and annotate or highlight key features directly from the touch screen. Teachers may supplement their curriculum material with dynamic and engaging content from internet websites such as Wikipedia, YouTube, or other educational sites. The ability to stream live or current news events is a great way for students to connect with the world outside the classroom. Using the video conferencing feature, teachers can remotely invite guest speakers into the classroom and go on field trips, while saving schools money and student’s time away from the classroom. The possibilities of the Mondopad are limitless when it comes to enhancing the learning experience of students.

In today’s modern classroom, the Mondopad has truly become a centerpiece. It features a bright, colorful 1080p touchscreen that comes in three screen sizes (57, 70 or 80 inches) to suit your classroom needs. The hardware used makes it easy to share, view and control content on the screen itself or from a notebook, tablet or smartphone. USB ports allow for seamless integration of other technology like document cameras, voting systems and teaching slates without delay or interruption to the instruction. One system can do it all.

Give teachers technology like the Mondopad from InFocus and help them deliver high impact, relevant and engaging lessons to their students. At CCS Presentation Systems, our education specialty team is made up almost entirely of former educators and administrators, resulting in audio visual professionals who understand the interactive learning environment.
